オーシャンフラッシュの特徴を継承しつつ、全く違う特性を持たせたジグ。
それが、オーシャンフラッシュセミロングである。

従来のオーシャンフラッシュが苦手とする横方向へのスライドアクションと、潮流の速いエリアでも攻略出来る事を想定して開発。硬い竿で強引にスライドさせるのではなく、柔らかい竿で軽くシャクるだけでスッとジグがスライドする。そんな動きを追求しました。

 

A jig that inherits the characteristics of the Ocean Flash while giving it completely different properties.

That is the Ocean Flash Semi-Long.

It was developed with the assumption that it could slide sideways, which was a weakness of conventional Ocean Flash, and could be used in areas with fast currents. Rather than forcing the jig to slide with a hard rod, the jig will slide smoothly with just a light jerk from a soft rod. That is the kind of movement we pursued.

 

 

ヒットにつながるジグの動きをバランスよく追及した結果、サイズによる想定ターゲットや使用状況の違いを考慮に入れ、ジグのサイズにより、2パターンの基本形状から片方を採用すると言う結論に達した。

一つは、スクリューカットを抑えめに施した150g、180g。
こちらはターゲットを青物中心に据えた結果、ジグが横を向く事より、ワンピッチ毎のジグの動きのうち伸びを重視した形状である。

もう一つはスクリューカットをやや強めに施した、80g、100g、125g、210gである。
カタクチイワシ等のベイトシルエットに近いセミロング形状で、使用状況において五目色が強いと想定される、ライトジギングで使われることが多い重量の80g～125gは、それに相応しくヒットチャンスを増やすために横を向きやすくさせるべく、当形状を採用した。

そして210gに関しては、その重量が故に早いアクションを続ける事は体力的に難しいと言う想定で、体力の消耗を抑えたアクションでもジグに動きが出るよう、軽量アイテムと同じ形状を採用している。
メインベイトがイワシ、カタクチイワシ等の時に活躍する、セミロングタイプのジグである。

 

After pursuing a balanced jig movement that leads to a hit, we came to the conclusion that we would adopt one of two basic shapes depending on the jig size, taking into consideration the differences in the expected target and usage conditions depending on the size.

One is 150g and 180g with a light screw cut.

This shape is designed to focus on bluefish as the main target, and emphasizes the extension of the jig’s movement with each pitch rather than turning the jig sideways.

The other is 80g, 100g, 125g, and 210g with a slightly stronger screw cut.

It has a semi-long shape that is close to the silhouette of bait such as anchovies, and for the 80g to 125g weights that are often used for light jigging, where it is assumed that the five-color color will be strong in the usage conditions, this shape was adopted to make it easier for the jig to turn sideways to increase the chances of a hit.

As for the 210g jig, we assumed that its weight would make it physically difficult to continue with fast action, so we used the same shape as the lightweight items to ensure that the jig would move even with actions that limit energy consumption.
This is a semi-long type jig that is effective when the main bait is sardines, anchovies, etc.

①強めのワンピッチジャーク

横を向きやすいジグの特性を活かして強めのワンピッチ。 時々シャクリの間を長く取る事で、スライドアクションしたジグがイレギュラーにヒラを打ちながらフォールし魚を誘います。

②高速ワンピッチからの飛ばしアクション

高速巻きからジグを放つように飛ばしてフォールさせる。 横にスライドしたジグがイレギュラーにフォールするアクションの切り替わりで気難しいターゲットにも思わず口を使わせます。

③ゆったりとしたロングジャーク

タチウオに効果的なアクション。 ボディ形状の特性によりテールを振るので遅めのアクションで釣るタチウオに最適。
